This meatloaf is comfort food that we all love but doesn't have all the heavy fat and calories!! My beef lover said and I quote "Write this one down and make it again!!"
This recipe can also be used for Turkey patties for Turkey Burgers!
What you need:
Food processor, loaf pan, mixing bowl
Ingredients: All organic ingredients****
2 lbs ground turkey
1 8 oz package white button mushrooms
2 small zucchini
4 green onions
2 small carrots
1 cup parsley leaves
1 cup cilantro leaves
1 cup rolled oats
3 Tblsp grapeseed oil or olive oil
1 Tblsp sea salt
2 Tblsp pepper
1 Tblsp roasted garlic powder
1 Tblsp Turmeric
1 Tblsp smoked paprika
1 cup ketchup
Directions:
In food processor combine all the vegetables and blend until finely diced.
In a large mixing bowl add the ground turkey and vegetables, oats, 1/2 the ketchup and oil, mix together then add all the spices and mix together.
Place in a loaf pan coated with grapeseed oil. spread the remaining ketchup on top.
Bake in a 350* oven for approximately 1 hour or until brown on top.
BTW there is no grease to drain off this creation!!!
