Protein Balls

                                                               Protein  Balls!!
I created this recipe as one of the snacks for a retreat I cooked for.  It was a retreat of both men and women who are very conscious of clean eating. So I made these protein balls to satisfy a sweet tooth but to also be very nourishing. The retreat participants kept asking me for the recipe so here ya go!!
Kids love them BTW. They are easy and quick to make and packed with protein.
Here is how I did it!
All ingredients are organic of course!!!😀
This recipe makes about 30-32 servings. You can easily double or triple it.
1 C rolled oats
1 scoop bone broth Vanilla protein powder
1 C creamy peanut butter
1/4 C Golden raisins and 1/4 C dried cranberries (soaked in warm/hot water for 10 min then drained)
1/3 C or less of Agave nectar or raw honey
1/4  C coconut oil melted
splash of Vanilla
1/4-1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 C mini dark Cacao Chips
1 C coconut flakes
Mix all of this together (except the coconut flakes) in a bowl, form into bite sized balls and then roll in coconut flakes. Place on a  parchment paper lined cookie sheet and place in the freezer for about 20 min. This will allow the balls to set up so you can stack them in layers divided by parchment paper in an air tight container. Keep frozen and take out as many as you need and keep in the refrigerator. They will keep in the freezer nicely for a couple months but believe me they won't last that long!!
 Healthy snacks-healthy family!!
One last thing. Don't dump the soaking water for the dried fruit. Keep it and use it in your smoothie!
